Therefore, farmers need a correct planning for the administration of vaccines to protect their livestock from any disease and, at the same time, ensure the quality and safety of the products destined for human consumption.

From that need came the idea for this mobile application. Farmers needed to have an organized livestock vaccination schedule to comply with all health regulations and ensure the sustainability of the farm.

Our goal: To develop a mobile application to help the livestock sector to have an exhaustive control of the vaccination calendar.

Personalized calendar

From the mobile application, farmers can manage all the information regarding their vaccination planning: dates and types of vaccinations, revaccinations, reminders, number of vaccinated cattle, health incidents, and more.

All this information and each action they perform or have pending to perform is reflected in a personalized monthly calendar for each herd, marking in red those activities pending to be performed.

To prevent certain dates from being forgotten, the application sends push notifications and mobile alerts 48 hours in advance, and farmers can also set up email reminders a week or a month in advance.

Organized information

To help farms to have all the information of their livestock better organized, the application allows adding images in the files of each farm.

A key feature of the mobile application is the geolocation of each farm for better control and organization.

Finally, and also very important, the application works without an Internet connection. All records are stored locally and synchronized automatically as soon as an Internet connection is detected.
