An app to transform internal communication

The company was looking for a digital solution to improve and strengthen internal communication between the organization and employees.

So the objective of this project was to develop a corporate mobile application for iOS and Android mobile devices, specifically designed to meet the internal communication needs of the company and encourage interaction between employees.

Through this application, employees have direct access to valuable company news and information, relevant documentation, direct communication with human resources, and more. All from the palm of their hand.

Full digital space for employees

In addition to providing valuable company news and content, the Somos SODEXO app has a number of key functionalities designed to facilitate employees’ day-to-day work:

  • Access to their paychecks: Users can consult and download their paychecks directly from the app.
  • Company news: Employees are kept informed with the latest news and corporate communications.
  • Real-time chat: Possibility of direct communication with the human resources department, to facilitate the resolution of doubts and queries.
  • Active employee participation: Through the app, employees can participate in contests and events organized by the company.
  • Conduct training through the app.

Access to the mobile application is restricted solely and exclusively to company employees. Each person has received a username and password from the CMS. This ensures the privacy of corporate information and sensitive employee data.

Content management panel

From the backoffice, the administrator users control the contents of the Somos SODEXO application and user access.

The web administration panel, developed in Symfony (CMS), allows managing all the information displayed in the app. This includes user administration, news publishing, push notifications and dynamic content management. It also manages user access, to unsubscribe people who no longer belong to the company.

In the CMS you can create, modify and delete news, send mass communications to employees, add or modify users’ data, and more…

The integration of a REST API ensures that the communication between the CMS and the mobile applications is fast and can be updated in real time.

Following the implementation of the Somos SODEXO application in the company’s day-to-day operations, the improvement in internal communication has been significant. Employees value the application as an accessible and secure tool.

The active participation of employees in corporate activities has grown significantly, fostering a sense of belonging to the company.
