VirtualRec is an application that offers original spare parts for workshops and they needed to create a platform that would facilitate the connection between workshops and official dealers to easily obtain spare parts and car parts.
They had encountered numerous problems in the day-to-day management and smooth understanding. And the best way was to design and develop a web platform that would put the two groups in direct contact.
When they presented us with their idea, we shared with them our vision of what we thought such a platform should look like to solve all their problems. And that’s what we did…

Custom design and plugins
Our team planned and designed the entire structure of the website for Virtualrec focusing on the ease of use and simplicity needed for the project.
The official workshops and dealerships have different methods and ways of management and work, so the design was made responsive so that all workers could connect from any type of device.
We also programmed a series of custom plugins that allowed us to add different functionalities to the platform, such as the private area for workshops and dealers.
Private area for users
Virtualrec has a private area exclusively for registered users. This part of the platform was essential to improve contact and transactions between workshops and official dealers.
Within the private area, users can perform various actions such as:
Manage their profile: all users can create and update their profile. Adding relevant information for other users such as brands they work with, specializations and contact details, among others.
Publishing spare parts needs: Workshops can publish in detail the spare parts they need. Specifying the model, type, brand or any other necessary technical aspect. This streamlines the request process and ensures that the offers received are exactly what is requested.
Responding to other offers: In addition to posting, users can respond directly to offers from other dealers or garages. This system improves and facilitates communication between companies.
And to ensure that all users are always informed of the latest news and offers that are posted, we have integrated a notification system that alerts users about responses to their posts, and shows new offers available.
